LIC bonus history
Declared simple reversionary bonus (SB) and final additional bonus (FAB) rates for LIC of India endowment plans, per ₹1,000 sum assured. Sourced from LIC's annual valuation-surplus announcements. Free to use with attribution.
What's in the dataset
Each row is a (plan × financial year × term band) tuple recording the bonus rates declared by LIC for that combination. Two figures matter:
- SB per ₹1,000 — the simple reversionary bonus, added every year the policy is in force. Multiply by sum assured (in thousands) and number of years to get the cumulative vested bonus.
- FAB per ₹1,000 — the final additional bonus paid only at maturity (or claim) for policies of sufficient term. Not declared for every plan / term combination; blank when not applicable.

- Rates are declared per financial year. The rate for FY 2024-25 was declared by LIC's actuarial committee in September 2024 and applied to bonuses vesting on 31 March 2025.
- Future rates are not guaranteed. Past declarations are useful as a planning input, not a contractual promise.
- FAB depends on both sum assured and term. The figure here is the band relevant to the plan's most common buyer; the LIC valuation PDF carries the full matrix.
- We deliberately publish a small, defensible table rather than a wide, partially fabricated one. Coverage will grow row-by-row as PDFs are checked.
